What it is
A licensing desk. We source moving image and audio at volume from libraries, producers and rights holders, clear the rights for the use the client actually has in mind, and license it onward to them. Where no single library can cover a brief, we aggregate across several and hold the whole chain together, so the client still deals with one counterparty and one licence.

How we work
We put the intended use in front of the rights holder up front, in the first email, not at contract stage. Older production agreements are usually silent on newer uses, which means the rights holder often has to go back to source before they can quote at all. Saying so early costs a fortnight. Discovering it in a client's due diligence costs the deal.
Then we scope honestly: what happens to the material, and what does not. We document what we control and we do not make promises about what we don't.
Rights and compliance
Every engagement carries a written scope and written undertakings on usage restrictions. We sign NDAs as a matter of course, hold provenance records for the life of the licence, and keep source material access-controlled throughout. For clients licensing into the EU, those records are what a transparency obligation gets answered with.
We do not license anything we cannot document, and we do not approach a rights holder with a use case we have kept vague.
